On a map, the borders of all rice fields are drawn and identified in a database.

From a software « AGRI » supplied for free by Tourtoulen, the rice grower captures all its cultural interventions on the rice field in order to justify its commitments for :
- the seal of approval of origin “Camargue”
- the quality requierements
- the CTE file
- the CAD file
- and generally, to justify good cultural practices
Each cultural data sheet is automatically exported in a database of traceability. The informations are processed to facilitate the cultural monitoring of the productions and all the essential controls with a permanent geographic location of these informations.

Exemple of research
To the request :
Search rice fields origin “Camargue”, type “long A”, variety “Ariete”
The software displays all the fields concerned by the selection.
By successive zoom, we reach the details of the field by a simple click and we can display the historic of all the interventions achieved on the rice field chosen.

An automaton of last-generation combines remote control and computer memory. The computer has recorded all the handling circuits, all the possible links, the flow of each tools and the capacities of each cells.
Linked to different weight-in posts, it is able to record and memorize the quantitative values. Combined to a supervisory control software, it facilitates the control of all the equipments.
On the exemple quoted, we distinguish two cycles in use :
- one cycle of product reception from the cellar 1 to the cell 210
- and one cycle of transilage to the silo 1 in hold to be used in the factory.

All the cells are identified by the nature of the product, the maximal content and the current content.
By preventing the extraction or the filling of the cells, the automaton affixes seals to these ones.
In the immediate future, this automaton will be linked to the weight-in post and the quantitative movements will be followed automatically in each of the cell.
The sum of the product contained in the cells corresponds to the total stock of ONIC.

At each startup, the operator generates automatically a launching of cycle.
It has to declare its intentions :
- choose the cereal
- choose the cell of origin
- with or without sorting
- choose the cell of destination
At each question, the computer suggests several choices in function of the content of its memory and choose the disponible manufacturing system to realize the wished action.
This pilot assisted by computer allows to avoid mixing and to file all the operations of transilage. This constitutes the inside traceability support of Tourtoulen.

For the operations of reception and expedition, it is necessary to fill beforehand informations about the product to start the cycle.
The automaton memorizes the product contract, the supplier, the client, the cell of destination, the amount and the carrier.
In the immediate future, this sheet of reception will be directly enquired by the software. The product contract, the product code and the supplier will be recorded in all the successive steps of the transformation.

All the sheets of reception and all the sheets of launching of cycles are memorized in a database. A veru sophisticate search engine allows to achieve a hictoric research following several selection criterions :
- Supplier
- Number of the delivery order
- Product code
- Cell
- Day, date, Month

Many other functions are managed by the automaton lke the temperature of storage for exemple. Each cell has a thermometric probe on 4 levels.
At regular interval, the temperatures are recorded et come to enrich the database.
Recommandation of thermometric variation are suggested and for each detected anomaly an automatic ventilation is set in motion.
