The storage capacity of 15.000 tons is composed by different flat bottom cells under thermometric control comform to the ONIC regulation.
The rice factories are entirely automited and allow to transform 5.000 tons of paddy rice per month with only two silo’s drivers.

The company has been created in 1989 by tree rice grower families from Camargue. This union provided half of the capacity of the silo representing about 1.200 ha of rice field.
The original architecture of the building, made at first for wine production, constitutes a remarkable area for rice storage.
The recent transformations of the building have received the provision of the latest technologies in term of handling, automatism and rice transformation.
Located in the biggest area of production in Camargue, right bank of the Rhône, the company concentrates in one place : Production, Drying, Sorting, Storage, Rice transformation from paddy rice to white rice.
Silo de Tourtoulen has tools to package rice into 1 MT Big Bag or 50 kg and 25 kg smaller bags. Its clients are mainly industrial packagers.
Most of its products are present in famous French rice brands and also in some international brands.
